These are the implementations of the FiveGuiPieces, done in VB6. Total development time was about 3 hours, though that included a 10 minute walk, a half-hour lunch and some web surfing time. So actual development time was probably 2 hours.
The implementations were made easy by using the VB application wizard to generate most of the code, especially for the explorer sample and the MDI sample. This is prbably an 'unfair' advantage compared to the other GUI toolkits - but the fact is that VB programmers have a very powerful IDE and application generator wizard available to them.
