I've read nearly all of the Spenser series. Maybe after so many novels I'm finally starting to get tired of the characters. In this novel Spenser goes west to Arizona to clean out a gang of ruthless outlaws who have taken over a town. really
It's reasonably well written, but the smart-aleckyness doesn't seem quite as fresh as it did, say, 10 years ago. I don't know - I think this series may have run its course.
