Apparently, putting the cost of multiple wars on the credit card is not good for your long term economic health. And deregulating the financial sector, and dropping interest rates to near zero percent so that banks can more easily fleece unqualified home buyers is also not a good idea. And creating a banking system that makes money mostly through financial transactions that don't contribute to the productive economy: also bad.
