I read this book in English some time time ago and thought I would try it in Spanish. But I don't read very quickly in Spanish and had to give up the project after about 60 pages. But whether in English or Spanish, this is a book very much worth reading. It covers the 500 years of colonialist and imperialist looting of South America's wealth and the attendant oppression of the people. A sad history but one that is important to understand.
