Flavia Petrelli and Brett Lynch, from BookDeathAtLaFenice, re-appear in this novel. Lynch is severely beaten by two men who tell her not to show up at a meeting with the director of a local art museum. Soon after, the director is murdered. Brunetti investigates and finds possible ties between the director and mafia figures.
Not the best in the series, but still a good read.
